Hello Summer!

It is hard to believe that we are already into mid July. The first two weeks flew by. So much is happening in the world, as a collective  we continue to fight for BIPOC and equality. We continue to go hard to seek justice for Breonna Taylor. We are learning and unlearning, and reading and applying this knowledge to our daily practices. Keep pushing for diversity and inclusion in your businesses, but also in the spaces you occupy personally and professionally every day. Call out the racism/injustice you see, no matter how small – so that others can learn from it. 

If you follow me on Instagram stories for my Tip Tuesday, yesterday I announced a few exciting things going on here at DL Designs. 

I have launched a set of pin designs to help empower those who cannot wear a mask due to medical conditions or neurodiversities, and have added ones for the hearing impaired to the site as well. These pin designs are available for download on my site and come in 3 colours. The templates are printer ready and can be ordered through People Powered Press here in Toronto, in quantities as low as 1. I have ordered some myself and they will be distributed in a few businesses around Toronto. Grab the template here.

I continue to help others prepare to reopen their storefronts and offices safely by providing them with safety protocol banners, posters and floor stickers. If you need something for you business please reach out. The goal is to help make this transition smoother for you in the coming weeks. 

At the end of July I will be a guest speaker at the Sunrise Brand Summit. Over two days 15 of us will talk on all topics from business and mindset to design and mindfulness, and everything in between. I will be talking about how to create on brand designs yourself using Canva. You can purchase your tickets here. Tickets start at $37.
